Wimbledon Plumbing and Heating Ltd
We are always happy to give our customers the benefit of our extensive knowledge of all things plumbing and heating related. Of course, over the years we’ve been in business, many of the same questions crop up over and over again.
We’ve compiled some of the most frequently asked questions into the following handy list: Many of your queries can be found right here, but feel free to ask us anything else. If we have enough interest in a particular area, we will add it to this FAQ page in due course.
While it varies from one bathroom to the next, you can usually expect a small or medium-size bathroom installation to be finished in two weeks, while a large bathroom could take up to four weeks. When we take a look at the space, prior to giving you your quote, we can give you a more accurate timescale.
There’s no such thing as an ‘average’ price for a new bathroom installation. Prices vary for a wide variety of reasons, such as the size of the bathroom, the type of fixtures and fittings you want installed, whether the walls or floor need any additional work before we can get started, and so much more. Indeed, your typical bathroom installation can cost anywhere between £5,000 and £20,000.
When you hire us to replace your old or faulty boiler, we can normally do it on the same day. If it needs to be a two-day installation, we will install the new pipework on day one and replace the boiler itself on day two. This means you won’t be without hot water or heating overnight.
Of course. Our experienced team of bathroom designers can provide you with a full CAD design service at a cost of £299.00. Alternatively, we are more than happy to help you with your bathroom layout and your choice of fixtures and fittings, completely free of charge.
Yes, all of our full bathroom installations come with a 10-year guarantee as standard. Our new boiler installations come with a 3–10 year guarantee, depending on the make and model of your replacement boiler.
If we cannot fix your issue within our standard emergency callout, that’s normally because the repair needs a specialist component or a substantial amount of work to complete. In these situations, we provide you with a full quotation for the job, which we will treat as a priority. If you’re happy with the quote, we can complete the repair as soon as we receive the necessary parts from our suppliers.
